Earth Collection
This collection is inspired by my love for nature. Each piece features a rich clay body that beautifully captures the essence of the natural world, with the glaze and clay complementing one another. The kiln process transforms each creation into landscapes that evoke feelings of home, comfort, and peace. I allow the clay to take the lead, highlighting its unique qualities. The colours are inspired by natural landscapes that remind me of my favourite places. The speckles in the glaze resemble little freckles, inviting you to explore each piece's story. This connection makes savouring a simple morning beverage feel special and cozy.
About Me
My name is Molly, and I am from a rural village just outside of Woodstock, New Brunswick, called Oakville. I've always had a passion for nature, family, crafts, and helping others.
I have been a nurse for five years, and I've recently decided to explore my artistic side. I have always enjoyed spending time outdoors and appreciating the beautiful aspects of nature. I love trying new arts and crafts, so I decided to give ceramics a try and quickly fell in love with it. I am now completing my second year of Fine Craft Ceramics at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design.
