We take immense pride in our packaging. Each piece is double-boxed and cushioned to withstand the journey. However, in the rare event of breakage:

You must email us within 24 hours of delivery.

• Please send a photo of the broken item AND the shipping box to mmcbrid1@unb.ca.

• Why so fast? Because we cannot verify if breakage occurred during shipping or after opening, if reported later.

• The Resolution: Since postal insurance does not cover ceramic breakage, we cover it. If you report it within 24 hours with photos, we will send you a replacement (if available) or issue a store credit.

• Claims made after 24 hours cannot be honoured.

1. Agreement to Terms

By visiting our website and purchasing from Molly's Mud ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, customers, and merchants.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice.

3. Accuracy, Completeness, and Timeliness of Information

We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete, or current.

• Handmade Nature: Every piece of pottery is handmade. Slight variations in size, shape, color, and glaze application are expected and are not considered defects.

• Screen Display: We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate.

4. Products and Sales

• Pricing: Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.

• Order Cancellation: We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. If we make a change to or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail provided at the time the order was made.

• Inventory: While we track inventory closely, in the rare event of a double-sale (e.g., an item sells in-person and online simultaneously), we will refund the online order immediately.

5. Shipping, Pickup, and Breakage

Your use of our services is also governed by our Shipping & Pickup Policy, which outlines our flat-rate shipping, local pickup procedures in Fredericton, and our strict 24-hour reporting window for items damaged in transit.

6. Liability and Safety

• Breakage & Injury: Ceramics are fragile. Broken pottery can be extremely sharp and cause serious injury. Molly's Mud is not liable for any injuries or damages resulting from broken pieces, whether caused by shipping, mishandling, or normal wear and tear.

• Food Safety: Unless otherwise noted, our tableware is food-safe. However, we are not responsible for damages or injuries resulting from the misuse of our products.

• Microwave/Dishwasher: While many of our items are microwave and dishwasher-safe, hand washing is always recommended to prolong the life of the piece. We are not responsible for damage caused by dishwashers or microwaves.

7. Intellectual Property (Our Content)

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Molly's Mud and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute our photos or content without express written permission.

8. User Content and Media

• Social Media Reposts: If you tag us in photos of our products on social media, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to repost and share these images on our own channels for marketing purposes.

• Photography at Markets: By visiting our booth at public markets or events, you consent to being photographed or filmed as part of the general crowd/atmosphere for our marketing materials. If you appear in a specific photo and wish to have it removed, please contact us, and we will comply immediately.

9. Third-Party Links

Certain content, products, and services available via our Service may include materials from third-parties (e.g., Stripe for payments, Canada Post for shipping). We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy of third-party websites.
